Mission

MSC EEO is committed to ensuring equality of opportunities for employees, former employees and applicants by identifying and eradicating all forms of discrimination and harassment based on race, color, religion, sex, age, national origin, disability, or GINA without fear of reprisal; thereby improving diversity and inclusion in the workplace through proactive EEO policy and program implementation focused on sustained mission readiness.

Goals

  • Establish a model EEO program in accordance with the 6 Essential Elements of a Model EEO program
  • Develop, deliver and evaluate EEO related training to managers, supervisors and employees
  • Provide EEO related consultation and advisory services to managers, supervisors and employees
  • Effectively and efficiently manage EEO complaints program
  • Conduct workforce diversity and complaint trend analysis
  • Provide program support for implementing EEOC MD-715 affirmative programs for equal employment opportunity under Section 717 of Title VII, and effective affirmative action programs under Section 501 of the Rehabilitation Act
