Command Senior Chief Andrew Redman entered the United States Navy in August 2006. He completed basic training at Recruit Training Command Great Lakes, Illinois, followed by Aviation Maintenance Administrationman “A” School in Meridian, Mississippi.
His duty assignments include Electronic Attack Squadron ONE THREE SIX in Atsugi Japan, Patrol Squadron FIVE in Jacksonville Florida, Patrol Squadron THIRTY in Jacksonville Florida, USS
Abraham Lincoln in Norfolk Virginia, and Fleet Logistics Multi-Mission Wing in San Diego California. During his tours, he has completed workups with and deployed onboard USS
Kitty Hawk (CV-63) and USS
George Washington (CVN-73).
Command Senior Chief Redman was selected as a Chief Petty Officer in 2017, Senior Chief Petty Officer in 2022, and Command Senior Chief in 2024. He is a graduate of the Navy Senior Enlisted Leadership Academy Class 260 (Gold Group) and Command Leadership School CMC/COB Course Class 24130. Senior Chief Redman is qualified Aviation Warfare Specialist, Surface Warfare Specialist, and earned his Associate in Applied Science in Administrative Management degree with Excelsior University.
His personal awards include the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal (three awards), Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal (six awards) and various unit and campaign awards.
