ARABIAN SEA (Aug. 14, 2020) Boatswain's Mate 2nd Class Rim Latdrik, from Keene, Texas, with support from Boatswain's Mate 1st Class Kristopher Owens, from Long Beach, Calif., both assigned to the Ticonderoga-class guided-missile cruiser USS Princeton (CG 59), attaches a cargo pendant to an Super Puma (EC-225) helicopter during a vertical replenishment with the Military Sealift Command dry cargo and ammunition ship USNS Amelia Earhart (T-AKE 6). Princeton is part of Nimitz Carrier Strike Group and is deployed to the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations to ensure maritime stability and security in the Central Region, connecting the Mediterranean and Pacific through the Western Indian Ocean and three critical chokepoints to the free flow of global commerce.
