ATLANTIC OCEAN (Oct. 6, 2020) Sailors assigned to Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Ross (DDG 71) heave a line from Lewis and Clark-class dry cargo ship USNS Medgar Evers (T-AKE 13) during a replenishment- at- sea while participating in Exercise Joint Warrior 20-2, Oct. 6, 2020. Exercise Joint Warrior 20-2 is a United Kingdom-hosted, multilateral training exercise designed to provide NATO and allied forces with a unique multi-warfare environment to prepare for global operations. U.S. Naval Forces Europe-Africa/U.S. 6th Fleet, headquartered in Naples, Italy, conducts the full spectrum of joint and naval operations, often in concert with allied and interagency partners, in order to advance U.S. national interests and security and stability in Europe and Africa.
