ATLANTIC OCEAN (Oct. 6, 2020) The Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Ross (DDG 71) comes alongside the Lewis and Clark-class dry cargo ship USNS Medgar Evers (T-AKE 13) to receive fuel and supplies in tandem with USS Donald Cook (DDG 75) for a replenishment-at-sea during Exercise Joint Warrior 20-2, Oct. 6, 2020. Exercise Joint Warrior 20-2 is a United Kingdom-hosted, multilateral training exercise designed to provide NATO and allied forces with a unique multi-warfare environment to prepare for global operations. Ross and Donald Cook, forward-deployed to Rota, Spain, are on patrol in the U.S. 6th Fleet area of operations in support of regional allies and partners and U.S. national security interests in Europe and Africa.
