USNS Rappahannock
191105-N-NB544-1117 PACIFIC OCEAN (Nov. 5, 2019) The fleet replenishment oiler USNS Rappahannock (T-AO 204) alongside the amphibious transport dock ship USS John P. Murtha (LPD 26) in preparation for a replenishment-at-sea. The John P. Murtha is currently on its first deployment and part of the Boxer Amphibious Ready Group (ARG) and 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU) team and is deployed to the U.S. 7th Fleet area of operations to support regional stability, reassure partners and allies and maintain a presence postured to respond to any crisis ranging from humanitarian assistance to contingency operations.
