ARABIAN GULF (Aug. 12, 2021) Boatswain’s Mate 2nd Class Nikolai Martinez shouts to line handlers to continue heaving the messenger line to seat the fuel probe aboard the guided-missile cruiser USS Shiloh (CG 67) during a replenishment-at-sea with the Henry J. Kaiser-class underway replenishment oiler USNS Patuxent (T-AO-201) in the Arabian Gulf, Aug. 12, 2021. Shiloh is deployed to the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations in support of naval operations to ensure maritime stability and security in the Central Region, connecting the Mediterranean and Pacific through the western Indian Ocean and three strategic choke points.
