SAIPAN (Oct. 22, 2021) Torpedoman’s Mate 3rd Class Kyle Taylor of Belleville, New Jersey, left, assembles a deck skid used for loading torpedoes aboard the Los Angeles-class fast attack submarine USS Hampton (SSN 767) at the island of Saipan, Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands, Oct. 22. Hampton is alongside the submarine tender USS Frank Cable (AS 40) for a weapons handling exercise involving the transfer of a MK-48 inert training shape. Frank Cable is on patrol conducting expeditionary maintenance and logistics in support of national security in the 7th Fleet area of operations.
