Ship in the Spotlight: USNS Supply

Military Sealift Command’s chartered Motor Tanker Ship Empire State and U.S. Navy amphibious assault ship USS Tripoli (LPH-10) conduct the first Consolidated Replenishment at Sea (CONSOL) between Tripoli and a tanker ship.

Kiggans observed the students during an exercise for the Standard Tensioned Replenishment Alongside Method (STREAM) training course, which provides underway replenishment training for more than 600 Civil Service Mariners each year.

NORFOLK, Virginia (May 30, 2025) – The U.S. Navy Mercy-class hospital ship USNS Comfort (T-AH 20) departed Naval Station Norfolk to begin its summer deployment to the U.S. Southern Command area of operation in support of U.S. Naval Forces Southern Command/U.S.4th Fleet’s Continuing Promise 2025, May 30.
