Ship in the Spotlight
This week’s Military Sealift Command “Ship in the Spotlight,” is the large, medium-speed, roll-on/roll-off ship USNS Sisler (T-AKR 311). The maritime pre-positioning ship is part of Commander, Maritime Prepositioning Ship Squadron Three and was in the Philippines conducting Combined Joint Logistics Over-the-Shore in support of exercise Balikatan 2025 this month. Balikatan is a longstanding annual exercise between the Armed Forces of the Philippines and U.S. military designed to strengthen our ironclad alliance, improve our capable combined force, and demonstrate our commitment to regional security and stability.
